Book Club app: getting started
Five minutes from download to your first club.
1. Create your account
Open the app and continue with Apple, Google, or your email. If you've ever ordered from Blindly, use the same email you order with. That's how the app finds your Blindly account later.
2. Join your clubs
Go to the Clubs tab and join the genres you love. There are ten, and you can join as many as you want. Each club reads one book a month together.
3. Fill your shelf
Tap Add to search for a book and put it on your shelf.
Already keep track on Goodreads or StoryGraph? Bring it all across at once:
- Open your Shelf and tap Import your library.
- Tap Open Goodreads export page. The app takes you there; tap Export Library and save the file.
- Come back to Book Club and pick the file. A StoryGraph export file works the same way.
- Running it again later never adds a book twice.
4. Connect Blindly (if you've ordered from us)
Go to your Shelf or Settings and choose Connect my Blindly account. It works for subscriptions and one-off boxes alike. The books we've sent you appear on your shelf. More on Blindly boxes in the app.
5. Log your first session
Start the timer when you sit down to read, or log your pages afterwards. That's what opens up discussions and starts your streak. More on tracking.
